Pastor Casey Whitley

I am Casey Whitley and I am the Pastor on staff here at Stanfield Christian Learning Center and the General Overseer of The Oak Fellowship Church. I’m 30 years old with a beautiful wife named Jerika and we have a 10 month old son named Vaylor Mark and one on the way.
My story is that of hard drug addiction for eight years, self harm, homelessness, violence, and a life full of reckless decisions...with all abandonment in regards to the value of my life. I was running as hard as I could from the Lord until I couldn’t any more. I had no where else to go. No where else to run. So, in a camper in Wilmington, North Carolina, I gave my life to Jesus. To me, I wasn’t concerned about heaven or hell at that moment. I wanted a new life and whatever that looked like.
The Lord answered my heart’s cry with more than I ever could ask or think. I was radically delivered of all drug addiction. I suffered no withdrawals, no urges, no cravings, no detox. It was like I had never been on drugs. Then the Lord Who redeems and restores began to redeem and restore ... as the Bible says in Joel 2:25, “All of the years that the locust destroyed, the young locust and the cankerworm had eaten.” This restoration began with me, and then my girlfriend, who now is my wife. After that was redemption for our families as I had been a prodigal.
Now I have been given this amazing privilege to lead and watch people of all ages grow into the fullness of Christ and live as sons and daughters of the living one true God.
